There’s an old saying that for someone to make money, he has to spend money. This is somehow reflective of how current market players deal in making their brand popular. They spend a lot of their resources on logo advertising promotional products in the hopes of competing in the market and overpowering their competitor.

I’m talking of millions of dollars here. Companies even fight over a 30-second spot in football championship games. They are willing to slug it out for a chance to showcase their logo advertising promotional apparel products on the grandest stage of them all. Problem is, the consumers don’t realize that in the end, they are the losers in the epic battle of advertisements.

Consumers become losers because of the huge mark-up companies add on their products. This is done to compensate the great amount of money they spent in marketing. It would have been ok if a company shows off something like logo advertising promotional auto accessories. Cars and car parts are expected to be expensive, and the burden of paying the costs added to the price would have been on those willing and able to spend the money.

For the young industry rookie like me, promotional merchandise is the way to go. The affordability of these items is the biggest factor for me now, and I’m already seeing the bigger returns these gifts make to my business. Instead of paying millions in 30-second TV spots, I might as well promote with these items and earn my own millions of dollars with the right strategy.
